My first 5k parkrun today 🏃 My PB is 21.59 many years ago, today I ran at 27.41. My goal was to get under 30 minutes and just have a new time on my 5k to see where I’m at.
Legs felt strong but heavy, and I have to work on my pacing. I ran almost the entire race in zone 5 heart rate 💀
It was definitely fun to run with others as it made me push myself harder than I would’ve done running alone.
