Sous vide roast beef

Such a simple recipe, and much cheaper than buying it at the supermarket.

Ingredients:

1-2 kilo of top sirloin beef

Salt

Pepper

Garlic powder

 

Vacuum seal the beef in a plastic bag and put it in the sous vide bath for at least 10 hours at 57 degrees celsius.

Open the bag when finished and cover the beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I normally go by feel here and have no exact measurements. Usually a bit of salt and garlic and a lot of pepper.

Give it a quick sear in the pan and let it cool down before putting it in another plastic bag or container.

Let it rest in the fridge overnight before you slice it.
